Jersey Shore’s Hannah Kauffman scored 27 points to help the Bulldogs defeat CMVT in girls basketball, 54-42.

Aubrey Stetts added eight points and Haley Stetts scored seven.

Jersey Shore trailed by eight after the first quarter before outscoring CMVT by 14 in the second.

St. John Neumann lost to Meadowbrook Christian in a close game, 35-32. Anne Weller had a double-double for St. John Neumann with 11 points and 12 rebounds. Brooke French added a season-high 10 points and had a team-high four steals.

Abby Henderson did a bit of everything, scoring seven points, grabbing seven boards, blocking three shots, swiping away two steals and dishing out two assists.

Elle Binford and Tamara Hess each scored 18 points to lead Canton to a 51-10 win over Williamson. The Warriors’ defense shut out Williamson in the first quarter to build an 18-0 lead. Canton led 26-2 at halftime.

South Williamsport exploded for 28 points in the second quarter en route to a 64-19 victory over Troy. Megan Weber poured in 16 points to lead three Mounties in double-figures. Alyssa Johnson and Julie Anthony both scored 10.

• In boys basketball, Wellsboro drilled 11 3-pointers en route to a 72-24 victory over Canton. Andrew Brelo led all scorers with 22 points while draining four shots from three and Brandyn Tuttle (20 points) and Joseph Grab (13) added three 3-pointers each.

Warrior Run dropped an 84-38 contest against Mount Carmel. Anthony Madilia led Warrior Run with nine points, finishing with three 3-point field goals.

Dylan Meyer continued his hot start to his senior season by scoring a game-high 28 points to help lead North Penn-Mansfield to a hard-fought 56-54 road victory over Northeast Bradford.

• Danville’s Andrew Johnson scored a fall in 33 seconds at 113 pounds to give the Ironmen a 38-37 win over Lewisburg in high school wrestling. The Ironmen won four of the night’s final six bouts to overcome a 27-14 deficit. Justin Gessner, Gavin Sheriff, Logan Bartlett and Austin Ruhl all recorded falls for the Green Dragons.
